 G'day Nestor,

YOU ARE AWESOME ..... High beam now works perfectly .... brilliant .... I got a 1.1k resistor, the shop didn't have any 1k resistors .... soldered up two connectors ... plug in as per your photo .... PRESTO !!!!! I GOT HIGH BEAM .... YAY Hahaha Guess I am a bit excited, plus the high beam indictor on the dash is working again .... I guess toyota got clever and you have to close the loop for high beam to work .... hehe My soldered resistor is a bit ugly, doesn't look anything like yours ... hehe, so I will re-do on the weekend, when I have a little more patience ... its way too long for a start ... but it works .... Thanks heaps Nestor, for your cleverness ... and attention to detail, and technical knowledge and brains .... I owe some more beers .... what was that amber liquid ... San Miguel ? hmmmm.
